Kolor for Kids - A Colorful Festival for Children's Miracle Network

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Get ready to Kolor your world and change a child’s life.
Registration is now open for the second annual Kolor for Kids FunFest, sponsored by Element Mobile benefiting Children’s Miracle Network. This colorful event will feature a day full of fun for all ages.
Kolor for Kids FunFest will be held from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Grand Rapids Lions Club near Wisconsin Rapids. The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 10 a.m. Participants will start wearing white and end sprinkled in an array of colored cornstarch powder.
The event also will feature live entertainment from noon to 2:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Noon to 2:30 p.m. Live music will be provided by Rising Phoenix. The band is a hard rock band from central Wisconsin, specializing in ’80s metal and hard rock; boasting some of the area’s very best seasoned veteran musicians in the rock genre. Band members are Todd Ashbeck, lead guitar, lead and harmony vocals; Craig Mitchell, lead guitar, backing vocals; Chase Keuntjes, lead vocals, harmony vocals and acoustic guitar; Jerry Kruschke, drums, percussion and vocals; and Robert Pike, bass guitar and backing vocals.
